In this article I will tell you how to make a push-pull voltage converter for igniting flasks from fluorescent lamps.
The converter is made on two APM3055L field-effect transistors, which you can find on the boards of old motherboards.

I wound the pulse transformer on the throttle from the economy lamps. The choke winding is a high-voltage transformer winding.Wind one layer of insulation from the tape and wind 8 + 8 turns of wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm with a tap from the middle. The pulse transformer is ready.

The operation of the converter depends on the load. Most importantly, do not exceed the permissible supply voltage, otherwise the current consumption will increase sharply and one of the transistors may fail if you do not turn off the power in time.
With a rounded bulb, the supply voltage was about 8 volts

With an oblong bulb with a power of 8 watts, the supply voltage was approximately 7 volts. The voltage on the high-voltage winding is high-frequency
